Kia Castleford – Dealership Refurbishment & CI Implementation
Client: JCT600
Lead Designer: Jones architecture+design
Main Contractor: Castle House Construction
Project Management: ADPM
As lead designer and principle designer for building control, we were appointed to deliver the full refurbishment of the Kia dealership in Castleford, aligning the site with Kia’s latest corporate identity standards. Working on behalf of our client JCT600, the project represents a strategic investment in both brand consistency and customer experience across their retail network.
The scope of works included a full external and internal upgrade of the facility. Externally, we delivered new CI signage and designed covered wet valet bays to enhance the dealership’s service offering and customer handover experience. Internally, the first-floor office accommodation was completely reconfigured to improve functionality and staff flow, while the ground floor showroom underwent a full refurbishment. This included upgraded finishes, a revised layout, and the integration of Kia’s CI-specified furniture, lighting, and branding elements.
Collaboration was key to the project’s success. We worked closely with Castle House as the main contractor and ADPM as project managers to coordinate the design and delivery phases efficiently. Our team ensured that all aspects of the refurbishment remained true to Kia’s brand vision, while also addressing the practical needs of the dealership and its staff.
The result is a fresh, modern facility that not only meets Kia’s corporate identity standards but also enhances the overall customer journey. The project was delivered on time, on budget and to a high standard, reflecting JCT600’s commitment to quality and their ongoing investment in future-ready automotive retail spaces.
