High Fashion Meets Interiors

Inspiration from your wardrobe may be mirrored in the design of your favourite interior. Floral prints, geometric patterns and pastel shades are key trends this year; both in interiors and in the fashion world.

Pantone’s colours of the year are Rose Quartz and Serenity and when paired with metallics, these soft pastels create a sophisticated look. On the other hand, being paired with neon accents make a bold statement and add tonnes of energy whether it be for interiors or fashion.

Inevitably, designs on the runway transfer into interiors as both interior and fashion designers work in a similar way. Fashion designers such as Ralph Lauren and Calvin Klein have long since expanded their creativity into homeware collections. More recently designer label Diesel has collaborated with ceramic tile company Iris Ceramica on several ranges assisting the company to ensure they are on trend and to expand into larger markets. We have also seen iconic design labels collaborating with furniture and lighting designers in a similar way.
