Jones AD Named Finalist in The Brit List Awards 2026 for Lirica Restaurant at The Cumberland Hotel

We are delighted to announce that Jones Architecture + Design has been named a finalist in The Brit List Awards 2026 for our design of Lirica Restaurant at The Cumberland Hotel. 

Lirica was conceived as a vibrant new dining destination within one of London’s most recognised hospitality venues. The project saw us transform the existing lobby layout to create a distinctive restaurant experience, complemented by a new VIP Lounge that enhances both guest arrival and dwell time within the hotel.

Working closely with the client team, our approach focused on creating a sophisticated, contemporary environment that reflects the energy of the hotel while establishing a unique identity for the restaurant. Through considered space planning, carefully curated materials and a seamless integration of food, beverage and guest experience, Lirica has become a destination in its own right.

Being recognised by The Brit List Awards is a fantastic acknowledgement of the project and the collaborative thinking behind it. The nomination celebrates not only the design outcome, but also the strong partnership between the client, consultant team and contractors who helped bring the vision to life.

We are incredibly proud to see Lirica shortlisted alongside some of the industry’s most innovative projects and talented design teams.

The winners will be announced at The Brit List Awards 2026 ceremony in November, and we look forward to celebrating with our peers across the hospitality and interior design sectors.
