Project Grand Union formed as a collaboration between Jones AD, Roger Gascoigne and Jonathan Richardson. Jones AD Creative Director Abi Perry-Jones described how the designers/ architects who have extensive experience in the hospitality design sector reunited after previously working together on the evolution numerous successful casual dining brands including the now iconic Turtle Bay and las Iguanas with founder Ajith Jayawickrema. The reunion forms what they term as a “Designer Supergroup”, a collaboration of hugely creative specialist experience of architectural, interior design and brand development experience/expertise in the UK’s food and drink sectors.
Far Eastern Restaurant and Bar, Tampopo, is Project Grand Union’s latest design and rebrand project. Tampopo, Wimbledon, London recently opened to great acclaim and the collaboration are now working on future sites with the brand combining all their key skills, enabling them to give their clients a bespoke, personal service.
