St Fagans – Catering Facilities

It is fantastic to be working with the passionate team at the National History Museum of Wales on the design of two new catering spaces to be part of the redevelopment of the site which is currently underway. The Museum has received funding from the Heritage Lottery Fund and the Welsh Government to completely transform the visitor experience.

The colour and materials pallet for the new Vale Restaurant is hugely inspired by the rural Welsh landscape surrounding the Museum with earthy tones and natural textures featuring widely. The new catering spaces will undoubtedly busy but the design scheme ensures that they will be be warm and inviting and attract a wide ranging visitor demographic.

The museum is soon to host an open day where members of the public can get a “sneak preview” of the redevelopment work. Refer to https://museum.wales for details of the “Whats Behind The Hoarding” event.
