Brand Twenty Two Architecture, a joint venture between Jones Architecture + Design and Brand Twenty Two, was appointed as Lead Designer for the delivery of Ford Pro’s next-generation dealership concept at Trust Ford’s site on Winterstoke Road in Bristol.
Developed by global brand architects Ghafari, the new Ford Pro corporate identity represents a significant step forward for the brand, focusing on transparency, efficiency, and customer engagement. The Bristol project marked the first implementation of this concept in the UK, forming a key part of the wider rollout across Europe and North America.
Working within an existing operational dealership presented a unique set of challenges. The brief required the seamless integration of the new corporate scheme into the constraints of an established building, while ensuring full compliance with Ford’s global standards and maintaining uninterrupted service operations throughout the project. From the outset, Brand Twenty Two Architecture worked closely with Trust Ford and the wider project team to carefully interpret the concept and adapt it to suit the specific demands of the site.
Central to the design is a shift towards openness and transparency. The workshop environment has been reimagined to allow greater visibility, giving customers a clear view into service operations and fostering a stronger sense of trust and connection. This approach is complemented by a refined customer experience, with the introduction of modern consultation areas and interactive tools that create a more engaging and immersive journey.

The design also places a strong emphasis on operational efficiency. The building layout was carefully optimised to improve workflow, ensuring that both customer-facing and back-of-house functions operate seamlessly. At the same time, the project prioritises staff wellbeing, with upgraded facilities and improved working environments that support day-to-day operations.
Aesthetically, the scheme introduces a fresh, contemporary identity defined by clean lines and crisp finishes. Sustainable principles were embedded throughout the project, aligning with Ford Pro’s forward-looking ambitions and ensuring the building is both functional and future-ready.
Delivered in collaboration with Innes BC as Project Managers and Cost Consultants, and SDE Group as Main Contractor, the project stands as a successful example of translating a global brand vision into a practical, high-performing environment. As the first UK application of the Ford Pro next-generation concept, the Winterstoke Road dealership sets a benchmark for future developments, demonstrating how existing sites can be transformed into modern, efficient, and customer-focused destinations.
