The Old Cock Inn, Harpenden, Hertfordshire

We’re delighted to unveil the results of our extensive refurbishment of The Old Cock pub and rooms in Harpenden, Hertfordshire.

The rear extension features a contemporary glazed area and links existing barns to the main pub.  What was a dark, gloomy area is now full of light thanks to large sliding doors and a glazed roof.  The new look lets customers enjoy a glimpse into the cellar, which has been opened up and framed with Crittall glazed screens, featuring a wine store.  The kitchen is also on view, with an open pass giving views of the chefs at work.

The Old Cock now includes six bedrooms, each individually designed and full of character.  The design details continue outside, with a fire pit set centrally into a high feature table, stylish booths and a covered area with heaters.
